Assignment 06: Complex form development
In this assignment, we are designing an engaging form from the block that will be suitable to be used as the model for a vacuum forming and casting in aluminum in the Foundry. It will include draft, have no undercuts and no sharp edges so that vacuum forming process is more likely to be successful. We will only be allowed to use hand tools in the fabrication process.
Assignment 07: Vacuum-Forming
In this assignment, we are using our form from Assignment 6 and the vacuum former to create a polyethylene mold. After creating the polyethylene mold, we will be go into the Plaster Shop and cast a family of five forms in plaster.
